GEH DEINEN WEG - scholarship and mentoring program

Since 2012, the German Foundation for Integration has set an example of integration, tolerance and equal pportunities by launching the scholarship and mentoring program "GEH DEINEN WEG". The program gives support to young talents with migration history from all business areas and helps them to progress in their career. The DSI supports their scholarship holders for over a period of two years by providing each of them a mentor, which they may consult regularly. The aim of the program is to give these young adults the opportunity to broaden their networks, to open up new perspectives and to assist them with their integration.

The alumni program

The German Foundation for Integration has initiated a new alumni program in cooperation with the Droege Group. The idea for the program was developed by the group of young enthusiastic alumni. With this program, the DSI alumni will be sustainably networked beyond the duration of the scholarship. They want to contribute to the integration process in Germany in the future. In 2015, the first 174 "GEH DEINEN WEG" scholarships holders will be part of the alumni program. The key element of the program is the implementation of social projects, which alumni develop by themselves. The first one will be announced on the 21st November during the first alumni reunion event in Düsseldorf.
