Help for the people in Ukraine
As a company that focuses on people, it is a matter of course for the Trenkwalder Group to support refugees from Ukraine. "We want to use our very good contacts to companies and institutions to directly improve the situation of the refugees. Together with our business partners, we mobilise all possibilities," says Mark Pollok, CEO of the Trenkwalder Group and Managing Director of Trenkwalder Austria and Germany.
As a first measure, Trenkwalder offers free German courses together with PAPAGEI digital learning solutions, a subsidiary of the Weltbild Group. "We want to make a contribution and help the refugees to arrive well here. Language barriers should not play a role in this," says Christian Sailer, CEO of the Weltbild Group.
Unbureaucratic and via WhatsApp: Refugees can come forward
Furthermore, Trenkwalder has deployed its own "care takers" who can be contacted by refugees via email or WhatsApp for all enquiries regarding work permits, opening an account, accommodation and job opportunities.
These measures are communicated, among other things, with the reach strength of various influencers represented by the lead talent management agency Magari International. These include the Ukrainian influencer Viky Rader #vikyandthekid and Anna Lewandowka #annalewandowskahpba. Mark Pollok on the cooperation with Daniela Giller, founder of Magari International: "We are very happy to be able to give our support services significantly more attention through Ms Giller's help and say thank you. The quick responsiveness shows the extent of her willingness to help."
Appeal to companies to support the initiative
Trenkwalder expects numerous enquiries via the cooperations and the contact points set up for refugees. "We are looking for companies and institutions in Austria and Germany with whom we can work in partnership and find a solution for jobs, accommodation and on-site transport," Pollok concludes.
