Droege & Comp. among top-3 restructuring consultants in Germany

Düsseldorf, May 12, 2009 – According to German corporate managers and decision makers, the International Management Consultancy Droege & Comp. is one of the three most competent restructuring consultants in Germany. This is the result of a study conducted by Dietmar Fink, professor for management consultancy at the University Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, which was published in today’s issue of the renowned German business daily Handelsblatt. Participants of the study were 457 corporate managers and managers of budgets or consultancy projects in companies with an annual turnover of more than one billion euros. The ranking is based on a rating system applied by the respondents to assess the consultancies’ expertise in revitalization and restructuring.

Especially in the current crisis, clients asked for consultancies which had long experience in these fields – and which had not just jumped on the bandwagon, stated Handelsblatt. “It is simply not enough to sell clients a range of standard cost reduction measures”, said Martin Jäger, Managing Partner at Droege & Comp. “Only those consultancies who have worked in restructuring for a very long time will have the necessary know-how, instruments, and sense of responsibility to achieve sustained success in this supreme discipline.”&nb
