The Droege Capital GmbH based in Düsseldorf, invests in a majority participation of Trenkwalder International AG. That is why Trenkwalder and Droege have signed a contract about that acquisition of an interest on the 20th of April 2011.

Kommerzialrat Dr. h. c. Ing. Richard Trenkwalder appreciates the deal. „The Droege group is a successful family business and has a lot of experience within the services sector. The conditions for further growth in interesting new markets in (South) Eastern Europe are going to be achieved much faster that way.“

„For Droege the participation in the Trenkwalder Group is seen as a long term investment in a dynamic market. In the future strategies that provide more flexibility to companies will gain an even bigger importance in medium sized firms as well as international groups.” says Frank Tanski, managing director of Droege Capital and chief representative of the Droege Group. Together with the staff of the Trenkwalder group it is intended to extend the market position in several countries and hence to set the course for ongoing growth of the Trenkwalder. According to Mr Tanski it is planned - in the medium term - to go public in Wien or Frankfurt.

The conclusion of the transaction depends on the completion and success of the due dilligence, the approval of the cartel authority as well as the approval of the supervisory boards. Yet Trenkwalder and Droege are positive that the intended participation is to come to a closing before the end of the 2nd quarter 2011.
