Art concept

A space for the arts

In a fascinating conversation with fine arts expert Professor Michael Bockemühl in 1995 we first developed the idea of what has since become Droege's well-founded art concept of: Improving the quality and comprehensibility of our consultancy services through the use of art. The concept’s foundation was laid when we expanded our corporate motto ‘Execution-driven consulting’ to include the prefix ‘The art of …’

As our company expanded, we gradually integrated more and more art into our working environment like the permanent installations. “Grauer Spiegel” (Gray Mirror), especially commissioned from Gerhard Richter, can be seen as the artist’s rendering of our claim to 110 percent quality.

Gerhard Richter: “Grauer Spiegel” (Gray Mirror) 1998, Droege Group Headquarter/Düsseldorf.

In total, our collection now comprises more than 2,000 pieces, including works by Gerhard Richter, Georg Baselitz, Sigmar Polke, Per Kirkeby, and Andy Warhol.

Source of inspiration and creativity

Art inspires to a look a second time: Art trains our staffs' perceptions and teaches them to transfer phenomena of art to solve problems of our customers. It's an approach that sparks many new ideas, which we readily incorporate into our roadmaps for corporate development. And alongside standard business presentations, we have always used art as an exciting instrument to convey our ideas to the client in an unconventional way.

Also in her private life, the Droege family is committed to art, for example as shareholder of the “Rhinegold Collection” (“Sammlung Rheingold”).
